TEF/TCF Score Builder

Préparation ciblée TEF/TCF

For you if: you need a specific TEF or TCF result on a deadline — for Express Entry, permanent residence, citizenship, or a retake to raise your score.

What’s included

  • A diagnostic assessment (written + a short speaking interview) before you start, so the plan targets the gap

  • Exam-focused work across all four tested skills — compréhension orale, compréhension écrite, expression écrite, expression orale — with the heaviest emphasis on speaking and writing, where candidates lose the most points

  • A timed mock exam under real conditions, with individual written feedback

  • A personal score-target plan: where you are now, what your target requires, what to practise between sessions

  • Small groups (maximum 6), in Oakville and live online

Where it leads: you sit the exam once, prepared — knowing your realistic score range and how each section works under time pressure.

Not for beginners without a French foundation: exam coaching can’t substitute for learning the language first. Start with a Conversation Circle, then move up.

French Conversation Circles

Conversation en français

For you if: you studied French years ago — or picked up pieces from apps and stalled — and want to actually speak: for travel, family, culture, confidence.

What’s included

  • A short placement conversation before you join, so everyone in your circle is at roughly the same level

  • Weekly small-group sessions built around real-life practice — role-play, pair work, guided discussion. More talking, less lecturing

  • Two levels, named exactly as you’ll find them when you register: Adults Beginner French – A1 (true beginners and false beginners: everyday vocabulary, first real conversations) and Adults Intermediate French – B1 (discussion and storytelling around adult topics — work, news, travel, culture)

  • A mid-course progress check and an end-of-term level summary, so you can see where you stand

  • In Oakville and live online

Where it leads: you handle everyday conversations with growing confidence — and at the intermediate level, you can sustain a real discussion. Your end-of-term summary tells you exactly which level to join next.

French for Work

Français professionnel

For you if: you need French for a bilingual role, a promotion, a client, or public-sector requirements — and your time is limited and spoken for.

What’s included

  • A needs analysis at intake: what the job actually requires — emails, meetings, client calls, official-language requirements — and the level you need to reach

  • Semi-private groups of two to four students, grouped by industry or need where possible

  • Workplace-focused content: professional vocabulary, clear emails and reports, speaking up in meetings, interview preparation

  • Scheduling designed for working adults, in Oakville and live online

  • A progress report at the end of the term, usable with your employer

Where it leads: you handle the French your role demands — emails, meetings, calls — with professional tone and confidence, and a documented record of your progress.

This program assumes at least an intermediate base, assessed at intake. Building that base first? Start with a Conversation Circle.
